We’ve had quite a few visitors to our new place in Raleigh, but I wanted to share some pictures for our friends and family who aren’t able to make it drive. Here’s a quick photo tour of our apartment!
Our apartment is on the 3rd floor and faces northwest, so we get lots of sunlight. We’re walking distance to an organic, non-GMO grocery store, Orange Theory Fitness, and Triangle Rock Club. Our neighborhood is pretty quiet, but full of couples our age.
When you walk into our apartment, there a small foyer with a coat closet. To the left is our living room. It was a little smaller than our last apartment, so we had to get rid of our coffee table. We’re using the ottoman and tray as a temporary table.
We have a HUGE deck off the side of the living room. This is where Bobby and I spend most of our time. It sits 3 people comfortably and has a decent-sized storage closet where we keep all of our camping gear.
If you stand in the living room and face away from the TV, our apartment is split in half. On the left is the dining room. On the right is the gallery kitchen. Our current dining room table fits perfectly in the dining room. One of the features I loved about the apartment was the open wallspace between the kitchen and dining room.
The back of our apartment is where our master and guest bedrooms are located. The bedrooms are split, with the guest bath in between. It was important for us to have a 2nd bedroom. Mainly because Bobby plays a lot of computer games and we wanted a separate room to set up his desk. Also, we can easily throw down the air mattress and host guests.

This is the normal set up for guests. Usually, the air mattress is put away and the room is open.
The guest bath is a full bath. It’s connected to the guest bedroom, as well as the living room. The towels, shower curtain and rug were gifts from our wedding last year.
Our Master Bedroom is huge! The ceilings are 9ft, which make everything look bigger. I’m still trying to find some frames to put wedding photos in above our headboard. I made a rack to display my jewelry. It’s convenient to pull what I need beofre heading to work.

Our master bath is pretty big! This is the first time we’ve had a double sink and I LOVE it! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to one sink. On the other end of the master bath is a huge walk-in closet!
That’s it! Hope you enjoyed the tour. I’m planning to do another photo tour after I decorate for Christmas. Stay tuned!
Love,
L
