I’m not a fan of winter weather, but I love winter fashion! I love all the layers and textures! Plus, I’m totally spoiled with the Raleigh weather. In Virginia, I’d be bundled up in a heavy sweater or sweatshirt from November through April. We’ve had a few weeks of below freezing temps (and a few snow days), but overall the weather has been mild…which means I can express my fashion sense a little more!
Most of my clothes are from Old Navy, Target, or Loft. My denim is from Gap. Occasionally I’ll find something I love at Francesca’s, H&M, or TJ Maxx. I like to buy “plain” pieces so I can easily mix-and-match with other pieces. I don’t have a lot of pattern pieces as they tend to be too trendy and go out of style quickly.
I’ve worn all of the winter outfits below. These are some of the go-to casual outfits I wear to work.

Brown leather jacket over a green tank top, combined with blue denim and tan booties. A plaid blanket scarf to pull it together!

A cream sweater cardigan paired with a blue plaid collared shirt. Blue jeans, tan booties, and gold accessories to top it off.

White long-sleeve tee and navy blue vest with blue denim and brown boots.

Military vest over a striped shirt, paired with blue denim and white flats.

Maroon long-sleeve tee with a tan wool scarf. Pair with blue jeans and tan booties for a cozy look!

White denim CAN be worn in winter! Pair a black floral top with a cozy grey cardigan and black flats.

Herringbone vest over a black turtleneck. Pair with black jeans and black riding boots.

Add a pop of leopard print to your chambray shirt and black denim.

Add a small pop of plum to this winter outfit. Grey long-sleeve tee and black denim with black boots, topped off with a plaid infinity scarf.
I had such a fun time putting together these flat lays! If you like seeing posts like this, let me know!
Love,
Lauren
